Just doing my part
After like the 5th time my friend quoted a line from the outro to Camp to me, I told him,
“Gym Class Heroes’ new album is out too, you know.” I wasn’t trying to hate on Childish Gambino, because I love him as well, I just wanted to bring light to how awesome GCH is.
“Is it any good?” he asked.
“Yes,” I told him. Then he asked me if I would tell him if it wasn’t and of course I told him yes.
Two days later, he’s bought the album and can’t shut up about it.
Mission accomplished.

@GymClassHeroes are back! Here they are performing The Queen and I at Club Nokia in L.A. on 6/17/11. My crappy Friday morning/afternoon was almost going to keep me from seeing them, but I’m glad I made it out, totally turned my day around. =)
Stars aligned for us that day. Icing on the cake being that some nice stranger paid for our meal at Denny’s.

On Tuesday (6/14), our first song from the album (Stereo Hearts) will be going up on iTunes, Amazon, etc. In all of our excitement, we hastily decided to reveal another flavor from the album so you could preview some of the themes, concepts, and throwback-ness we’re exploring with this one.
A solid album takes time, we think. So while we’re still in the studio working on this Papercut Chronicles II jumpoff - we thought we’d leak a few bars of a song we wrote a few months back. ALRIGHT - SETTLE DOWN, SETTLE DOWN!! Remember that this one is still in development - so much that we have only “working titles” for it. Sometimes we call it “Spanish Fly”, or “88 to 95”, sometimes it’s called “Down In a Hole” - by the time you’re holding the album it will be called…well, something.
